Ebro Delta Natural Park

Driving 20 minutes south from l’Ametlla de Mar you will find the Ebro Delta Natural Park. The second most important Natural Park in Spain –with 320 km2– is the largest wetland in Catalonia.

A natural spectacle changing colours throughout the year that includes the most important aquatic habitat of the western Mediterranean. Walking by the lakes and the rice fields and the long deserted sand beaches and dunes you can observe birds such as flamingos or kingfishers, among other species, in addition to trying some of the restaurants that cook the best paella in the whole country.
